What Does It Mean To Be Carbon Neutral?

Being carbon neutral means achieving a balance between the amount of greenhouse gas emissions produced, and the amount removed from the atmosphere.

This is achieved by taking steps to reduce your carbon footprint, and then offsetting any remaining emissions by investing in projects that remove or reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

ESG REPORTING (Environmental, Social, and Governance)

An ESG report is a document that provides information about a company's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. It is a way for companies to communicate their sustainability efforts and to demonstrate their commitment to responsible business practices.

The purpose of an ESG report is to provide stakeholders, suchas investors, customers, and employees, with information about a company's ESG performance. The report typically includes data and information about a company's impact on the environment, social issues, and corporate governance.

ESG reports can take many forms and can vary in the level of detail they provide. Some companies may choose to produce a standalone ESG report, while others may integrate ESG information into their annual report or other corporate reporting. We help you make this decision.

SEE carbonzero will help your business create and implement your ESG report. Our team of experts will work with you to develop ESG documents that align with your business objectives and meet industry standards.

We provide ongoing support to ensure that your ESG documents are implemented effectively and align with your overall sustainability goals.

How Does Carbon Offseting Work?

When you purchase a carbon offset, your investment supports a project that reduces greenhouse gas emissions. These projects can take many forms, such as planting trees, investing in renewable energy, or capturing and storing carbon emissions.

The reduction in emissions from these projects is measured in metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e), which is the standard unit of measurement for carbon offsets.
